Enhanced photoelectrochemical performance of CdO-TiO2 nanotubes prepared by direct impregnation

摘要
•A direct impregnation technique was adopted to prepare CdO-TiO2 nanotubes.•Small amount of Cd2+ leads to more electron accumulation on the electrode surface.•Holes accumulation was also promoted resulting to greater photocurrent attenuation.•The maximum IPCE value was calculated for the CdO loading amount of 10.16%.
