摘要
Dr. Daryl Staveness is an American Cancer Society postdoctoral fellow working at the University of Michigan in the lab of Prof. Corey Stephenson. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before pursuing his PhD at Stanford University with Prof. Paul Wender. His graduate work entailed the design, synthesis, and evaluation of more readily accessible analogs of bryostatin as well as the interrogation of the bryostatin-PKC-membrane interaction via solid-state NMR. His postdoctoral research has centered on the development of new photochemical approaches toward 1-aminonorbornanes, motifs designed for implementation as aniline bioisosteres in both drug and agrochemical discovery.
