Responses of boreal ground beetles (Coleoptera, Carabidae) to different logging regimes ten years post harvest

•Follow-up of 10 years of ground beetles in replicated, differently-harvested stands.•Open-habitat species benefited and Calathus micropterus suffered from logging.•Small retention tree groups in clear-cuts supported part of the initial assemblage.
