Contribution of different predator guilds to tritrophic interactions along ecological clines

•Insectivorous birds are strong trophic drivers, but elevation trends are unclear.•Parasitoids tend to specialize at higher elevations.•Ant’s aphid-tending and herbivore-attacking mainly decrease with elevation.•Nematodes attack detritivores with implications for elevation × nutrient effects.•We need high-resolution field experiments to understand TTIs in diverse habitats.
