Key Simulating Technique Analysis for BIW Welding Process

Process simulation is a bridge connecting process planning and layout and debugging of production line, providing virtualized simulation technique support for product process verification and process scheme analysis. This paper combines the experiences and results of several process simulation projects, defines the process simulation concept, intervention point, analysis scope, input and output, clearly explains the technical support content and form of process simulation, and investigates in details the procedure, equipment definition, man-machine simulation, etc. It puts forward the practical standard procedure of process simulation for the welding process planning and steps of simulation. According to the actual welding concurrent engineering project, the related problems and the solutions are discussed.
