A High-precision Underwater Acoustic Communication Signal Modeling Method Based on VirTEX Algorithm

Doppler shift has important influence on the performance of underwater acoustic communication system. When constructing a received signal, it is usually set that the Doppler shift is a fixed value, which inevitably causes the distortion of the simulation signal. The VirTEX algorithm considers the difference of Doppler shifts of different paths from the ray theory analysis. However, this method cannot guarantee data continuity and cannot be applied to real-time simulation system. This paper proposes a dynamic channel received signal modeling method based on VirTEX algorithm. It not only considers the Doppler variability of different paths, but also considers the problem of data continuity in real-time systems. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method.
