Organic-inorganic luminescent composites obtained by the intercalation of organic dyes into the layered rare-earth hydroxides

Intercalation of organic dyes 1-anilinonaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid (1,8-ANS) and surfactant 1-octane sulfonic acid sodium (OS) into layered europium hydroxide (LEuH) to form composites. The composites show excellent luminescence properties, which may have potential applications in new hybrid luminescent materials.
