•The level of P2Y12R is upregulated in the lung tissues and inflammatory cells, and increased even more robustly compared to that of CysLTR1 and CysLTR2 in the asthma mouse model.•Montelukast, HAMI 3379 showed the cross-inhibitory effect on the expression levels of CysLTR1, CysLTR2, and P2Y12R. The administration of clopidogrel suppressed mostly the expression of P2Y12R.•Montelukast significantly inhibited eosinophilic inflammation compare to clopidogrel, in contrast clopidogrel inhibited the level of Th2 interleukins rather than montelukast.
