摘要
•TiO2 nanorods exposed different degrees of {1 0 0} facets were synthesized.•More OH groups existed on the Ru/TiO2 catalyst exposed more {1 0 0} facets.•The Ru/TiO2 catalysts were evaluated in benzene selective hydrogenation.•Ru/TiO2-453 catalyst exhibited the highest S0 (93%) and yield (54%).•A linearity between S0 and the amount of OH groups was established and discussed.
