Representing Error Of Wind Surface Waves Prediction

This paper presents a relationship between the past sample size and the prediction error of ocean waves. It gives a guideline to require the past sample size provided that the prediction error is demanded in advance. The prediction is in the scenes of one point, which is desired for dynamic positioning of offshore structures. The presented error expression appears to be an exponential type function.
