New Business Model for Malaysian ar Rahnu Using Blockchain as Sustainable Business

Ar-Rahnu is a major player in pawned items in Malaysia. Most established corporations in Malaysia are starting to initiate their wholly owned Ar-Rahnu shop to handle the Islamic pawning. However, doing Ar-Rahnu does not guarantee money back or good cash flow for the shop. This paper proposes and explains benefits of a new secondary business model based from blockchain technology web platform to ensure the sustenance of cash flow in Ar Rahnu Malaysia.
