Addition formula and γ-factors for local fields

We prove a formula that shows explicitly the additive structure of a local field is determined by the multiplicative structure and γ factors. And we prove a formula that relates the γ-factors of different local fields. The unramified coefficients of our addition formula appear as string amplitudes.
