Light driven PVDF fibers based on photochromic nanosilica@naphthopyran fabricated by wet spinning

摘要
•Photoresponsive PVDF fibers doped with SiO2@NPTs were prepared by wet spinning.•PVDF@SiO2@NPTs with average diameters of 98 and 133 μm and a porous outer surface.•Internal fiber morphology showed finger-like macrovoids and sponge-like structures.•PVDF@SiO2@NPTs revealed UV and sunlight responsive properties.•Good coloration kinetics and optical contrast were achieved.
