A photometric study of two recently discovered, contact binaries-II: UCAC4 479-113658 and UCAC4 479-113711

•The orbital period distribution of contact binaries shows gab for their short periods.•New detection of binary stars enlarges the data base necessary to follow their evolution.•Analyzing data using modern software gives accurate orbital and physical parameters.•Determining the binary parameters will give the opportunity to verify theories.•Classifying contact binaries to A- and W-types enable to follow their evolution.
