摘要

•α-SnWO4 with various morphologies were synthesized by a solvothermal method.•Morphologies changed from nanostrip to nanosheet with increasing water content.•The as-prepared samples showed excellent photocatalytic activity.•Both crystallinity and surface area had great effects on photocatalytic activity.
