The Yinachang Fe-Cu-Au-U-REE deposit and its relationship with intermediate to mafic intrusions, SW China: Implications for ore genesis and geodynamic setting

•The age of diorite at the Yinachang Fe-Cu-Au-U-REE deposit is younger than ca. 2014 Ma and probably ca. 1735 Ma.•The REE mineralisation at the Yinachang deposit has a close relationship with the alkaline magmatic rocks.•The gabbro has an EM1 OIB-type mantle source and the diorite has a mixed crustal and mantle source.
