An On-Site Metering Device For Electric Vehicle Dc Charging Point

This paper describes an on-site metering device for electric vehicle DC charging point. The device realizes the measurement of high DC current by using DC comparator. Every part in power module is isolated with each other for reducing interference. Meanwhile, GNSS signal reception module is added for time metering. The device is portable for metering on-site, and the measurement range of DCV is 3V similar to 900V, while DCI is 0.5A similar to 300A. The measurement results show that the DC electrical energy error of this device is below 0.05%, and the stability is better than 0.007%/min.
