Plasma but not urine 8-ISO-PGF2ALFA is a predictor of insulin resistance in the middle-aged subjects – An occupational, cohort-based study

Aim: There are no published studies evaluating systemic oxidative stress by measuring both plasma and urinary 8-iso-PGF2α relative to insulin resistance (IR). The study assessed the relationship between systemic oxidative stress and IR in middle-aged police officers, as well as with metabolic syndrome (MetS) components.
