摘要

•H3PW12O40–TiO2 composite catalysts were synthesized by a sol-gel method.•Analysis of activity by means of the photonic efficiency parameter.•Optimum performance achieved with 20wt. % of the polytungstate.•The NRM study identify the role of [PW11O39]7− and [PW12O40]3− anions.
