P–T–t path and tectonic significance of pelitic migmatites from the Lüliang Complex in Xiyupi area of Trans-North China Orogen, North China Craton

•A clockwise P-T-t path was reconstructed from the pelitic migmatite of Lüliang Complex.•The ages of ∼1.95Ga and 1.91Ga from the pelitic migmatite reveal a long-lived cooling process after the Tmax.•A continent-continent collision was proposed along TNCO of the NCC, which culminated at ∼1.95Ga.
