•TiO2–MoS2–RGO ternary hybrid photocatalyst were synthesized via a facile hydrothermal reaction.•TiO2–MoS2–RGO was used to remove BPA, which is a representative endocrine disruptor chemical.•MoS2 and RGO can improve the adsorption and photocatalytic performance synergistically.
