Size controlled fullerene nanoparticles prepared by guest exchange of gamma-cyclodextrin complexes in water

Fullerene nanoparticles (nC(x); x = 60 or 70) with a monodisperse size and morphology are obtained through guest exchange of a gamma-cyclodextrin (gamma-CD) complex. The size of nC(x) could be controlled by changing the initial concentration of the C-x-gamma-CD complexes.
