摘要
In this study it was assessed the effect of the aqueous extract of the wine industry by-product (BWI) on the hatching and mortality of second-stage juveniles (J(2)) of Meloidogyne javanica, and the effect of soil amendment with BWI on the hatching and the viability of J2 in the soil was assessed. The aqueous extract of BWI and soil amending with BWI reduced the hatching and killed the J(2) of M. javanica. Gallic acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, p-coumaric acid and trans-resveratrol were the phenolic compounds identified in the aqueous extract of BWI by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The by-product of the wine industry has nematicide effect against M. javanica and it is likely that the application of the organic amendment into the soil may be an additional strategy for the management of the pathogen.
