摘要
The Hegel[ian] dialectic thus expressed has been long discredited as a complete method of explaining the universe, but it [s]till has its practical and intriguing value in clearing up human paradox; and there is a certain higher variety in the fact that one great universally admitted truth continually gives rise to an absolutely contradictory fact; and that in after years, the two become reconciled and understandable in a vast illuminating synthesis. W. E. B. Du Bois (c. 1936).
