摘要
Dermatozoonoses are diseases or infections naturally transmissible from vertebrates to humans and vice versa, that clinically in skin diseases (except systemic allergic reactions) in humans. In urban settings, the vertebrates responsible for dermatozoonoses are pets (dogs, cats, rodents, lagomorphs). People exposed to a zoonotic risk are the owners of the animals and a number of professions at risk, including veterinarians and their staff, breeders, groomers and other professionals in contact with the animal. Dermatozoonoses can be of mycotic, parasitic (mites, insects, helminths, protozoans), bacterial, or viral origin. Veterinarians and physicians must work in close collaboration in order to provide accurate and effective information to their clients and patients.
