摘要

•VOx-Nb/La-γAl2O3 catalyst for gas phase oxygen free ODH of ethane.•La stabilized the γAl2O3 in high temperature reduction/oxidation cycles.•Nb isolated VOx on La-γAl2O3 and minimizes crystalline V2O5 formation.•Achieved high ethylene selectivity in gas phase oxygen free conditions.
