摘要
Bergenia scopulosa (Saxifragaceae) is an endangered perennial herb which is endemic to China. In the present study, the complete chloroplast genome of B. scopulosa was determined by using Illumina pair-end sequencing. The complete chloroplast genome of B. scopulosa was 156,041 bp, consisting of a pair of inverted repeat (IR) regions (25,585 bp each), a small single copy (SSC) region (18,354 bp) and a large single copy (LSC) region (86,517 bp). The chloroplast genome of B. scopulosa contained 132 genes, including 85 protein-coding genes, 37 tRNA genes and eight ribosomal RNA genes. The overall GC content of the whole genome is 37.8%. Phylogenetic analysis of 23 selected chloroplast genomes revealed that B. scopulosa was closely related to Heuchera parviflora var. saurensis .
