Systematic review and meta-analysis comparing topical corticosteroids with vehicle/moisturizer in childhood atopic dermatitis.

•Atopic Dermatitis is a common pediatric problem which is frequently cared for by nurses.•There are limited RCT's which assess the safety and efficacy of topical corticosteroids in children <2 years old.•Topical corticosteroids trended to being more effective and equally safe to vehicle/moisturizers.
