摘要

•We conduct a GWAS on previously deployed soldiers (462 PTSD cases, 2019 controls).•One region, 4q31, close to the IL15 gene, is significantly associated with PTSD.•The results suggest a relation between deployment-related PTSD and inflammation.•Further, we find cross-genetic correlations between PTSD, depression, insomnia and schizophrenia.
