摘要
Cervical cancer is a malignant gynecological disease with high morbidity and high mortality. Due to the limited diagnostic tools at present, some kinds of cervical cancers cannot be timely and precisely detected, so that the optimal treatment opportunities for the patients might be missed. In this paper, we propose photoacoustic imaging, a method with high sensitivity, deep penetration depth, low cost and non-destruction for the cervical cancer detection. A dual-wavelength photoacoustic imaging system of 532nm and 1064nm was designed and built, and experiments of cervical cancer scans on nude mice model were carried out. Results show that under both the two wavelengths, the in depth structure of the tumor can be distinguished with complementary information, which proves the potential of photoacoustic imaging in cervical cancer diagnostics.
