•8 new conjugates consisting of LFcinB analogues and three antimicrobials: CIP, LVX and FLC were synthesized.•Click reaction was used to synthesize FLC-based conjugates.•All studied peptide conjugates exhibited activity against Gram-positive bacteria.•The important role of disulfide bridge as a linker was revealed.•Synthesized conjugates showed relatively low cytotoxic effect.
