Human resources (HR) is one keys of success factor to help the organization achieve the organization’s goals and compete to global competition. This factor becomes one of concern by Data and Information Centre (Pusdatin) of Ministry of Agriculture to nurture and develop human resources to support Pusdatin’s operational and service excellent. Nevertheless, currently Pusdatin have not strategic plan how to improve human resources performance significantly. Based on this finding, this research will conduct evaluation to discover current condition in that areas and give recommendations as input for Pusdatin to define strategic plan to develop human resources. The research methodology used is the COBIT assessment programme based on COBIT 5 framework. Assessment conducted on APO 07 domain in which it is related with manage human resources in Pusdatin and overall assessment’s result showed that Pusdatin’s human resources management has been working on level 3 (defined process). It is means that standardization on manage human resources has been applied in Pusdatin. Based on discovery results, the recommendation is Pusdatin should addressed compentencies of employees according on organizational requirement and then upgrade their skill by the appopriate trainning; and manage workload each of employee.
