摘要
The Norwegian musician Thomas Hansen, known to his fans as St Thomas, died in 2007 at the age of 31 years. He'd taken a combination of drugs, some prescribed, some not, and it seems probable he arrived at his death through an unlucky and unintended combination of the two. During his life, he produced eight albums and is best known for songs like Cornerman, The Cool Song, and Into the Woods, all of which show the influence of Elliott Smith, whom he admired. At the time of Hansen's death, his albums were selling less well and his concerts were more sparsely attended than those of his earlier career, but—as Burn The Place You Hide shows very clearly—he left behind a loyal circle of friends and family, who would have done almost anything to ensure his safety and happiness.
