Soccer Ball Recognition and Distance Prediction Using Fuzzy Petri Nets

Petri net (PN) is a modeling tool to represent systems or processes. With the addition of fuzzy logic, Fuzzy Petri nets (FPN) are built to allow for systems to deal with uncertainty. The capability to deal with uncertainty is a useful tool when designing, especially for artificial intelligence. One aspect of artificial intelligence is the ability to emulate human vision through the use of image processing and computer vision. Images are processed by looking at the pixel data and the pixel data can be fed as the input into a system to output a feature vector to describe the image. This feature vector then describes the image to be used for both classification and regression models to dictate a robot's behavior.
