摘要

•A simple hydrothermal method combined with calcination was used to coat Ag-ZrO2/r-GO on CoCrMo substrate.•Except for Zr(SO4)2·4H2O, GO, glucose, AgNO3 and distilled water, no surfactants and organic solvents were added.•After two hydrothermal treatments, an adherent Ag-ZrO2/r-GO coating of 12.5 µm in thickness was obtained.
