摘要
•Dietary effect of IMP on growth performance, immune response and disease resistance were evaluated in Nile tilapia.•Growth and feed utilization were improved by supplementing ≥2 g kg−1 IMP in diets.•TSP and SOD were improved with ≥4 g kg−1 supplementation, while LA with 8 g kg−1 and BA with ≥1 g kg−1 supplementations.•IMP supplementation showed higher cumulative survival of fish in challenged with S. agalactiae.•In conclusion, a minimum concentration of 2 g kg−1 IMP could effectively enhance the Nile tilapia’s performances.
