摘要

•The ternary Bi/Bi2O3/Bi2WO6 composite was constructed via a facile method.•Bi/Bi2O3/Bi2WO6 is highly efficient and durable for NO removal.•Bi metal and Bi2O3 decoration activates the amorphous Bi2WO6 system.•Respective contributions of the heterojunction and SPR effect are identified.•Reaction pathway and mechanism was revealed by in situ DRIFT technique.
