Metal-free, flexible triboelectric generator based on MWCNT mesh film and PDMS layers

•Metal-free triboelectric generators were fabricated with MWCNT mesh film and PDMS.•The device presents excellent durability against corrosion humid environment.•The generated output power reaches 27.0 W/m2 at the matched impedance of 10 MΩ.•The output power scales with the pressure applied by the finger.•The energy harvesters can be applied on curved or irregular surfaces.
