•Thirteen phenolic compounds were isolated from Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim..•Ten compounds were obtained from Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim. for the first time.•The antioxidant activities of these isolated phenolic compounds were determined.•Among the isolated compounds, quercetin presented the highest antioxidant activity.
