Expression of CD34 could also be noticed in some tumors, and is connected with angiogenesis. CD34 is negative or very low in normal urine cytology and mild or high in majority of malignant urine cells. Cd34 positive cells in urine specimens with nuclear atypia is probably connected with inflammmation and repair.
