Effect of high pressure hydrogen on the mechanical characteristics of single carbon fiber

摘要
•Carbon fibers were annealed in the high temperature of 1950°C for 1h.•The crystalline of carbon fibers was changed and diameter was decreased.•Weibull modulus of CF was decreased due to hydrogen.•In case of ACF, the bimodal distribution was appeared by hydrogen.•The hydrogen absorption caused improvement of the tensile strength of ACF.
