Engaging With Recorded Sound Materials Through Metaphorical Actions

This article presents a set of interactive audio applications that have been realised between 2009 and 2012. The applications have been created to foster the engagement of users in playing sound and music-alone or collectively. After introducing the underlying concepts and technical framework, the article briefly describes each scenario and discusses the involved metaphors.
