摘要

•We present a systematic review comparing Prostar XL and ProGlide, the two vascular closure devices used for large arteriotomies.•Prostar XL is associated with more bleedings compared to the ProGlide.•There were no differences in the rates of all vascular complications, end stage acute kidney injury and mortality.
