A Nested Compressive Solver For Mom Matrices

A O(N) solver is proposed for the acceleration of iterative solutions of the Method of Moments (MoM) matrix; the proposed strategy uses a local compression scheme based on sampling the field radiated by groups of basis functions. The local compression scheme plus the use of a nested structure to represent the low rank part of the MoM matrix grant the linear complexity demonstrated through numerical examples. The scheme is easy to integrate to existing codes as it re-uses pieces of code present in all MoM solvers and it is fully kernel independent.
