Bladder Cancer Treatment: Review of Literature

Purpose The aim of this study is the systematic review of external radiation therapy studies in bladder cancers. The review of the literature is based on data from meta-analyses, randomized and prospective trials and retrospective studies. There are several reports on multimodal treatment in invasive bladder cancer: intravesical chemotherapy, surgery, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy and concomitant radiochemotherapy with organ preservation.
