摘要
•Novel control strategy was used for bio electrochemical recovery of copper from distillery waste.•6.8 L tubular BES was constructed and tested with MPPT and applied voltage as control strategies.•MPPT performs better at high Cu2+ concentration with double metal removal efficiency.•The form of copper recovered can be manipulated at low Cu2+ with MPPT and constant applied voltage.
