摘要
We report herein the simple methodology for the synthesis of Graphene Oxide (GO)-metal nanohybrids through selective reduction technique (SRT), which eliminates the formation of undesirable reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) by conventional method and enhances the dispersibility of GO-nanohybrids in aqueous medium. The dispersibility of the materials in aqueous medium has been explained from zeta (ζ) potential value. The synthesized materials are characterized well by UV–Vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy and various types of microscopic studies such as Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). A preliminary attempt has been made to search its (doped materials) bioactivity towards breast cancer cells (MCF-7). The results are compared with a well known anti cancer chemotherapy drug Mitomycin-C.
