Thermochemical properties for a series of transition metal borates of M[B12O14(OH)10] (MII = Mn, Zn, Fe, Co, Ni)

摘要
•Zn[B12O14(OH)10] has been synthesized and characterized.•Enthalpies of solution of Zn[B12O14(OH)10] and ZnO were measured, respectively.•ΔfHmθ for Zn[B12O14(OH)10] was obtained by a thermochemical cycle.•ΔfHmθ of a series of M[B12O14(OH)10] have also been estimated.•ΔfHmθ has been used to compare the stability of this series of compounds.
