摘要

•We develop a hybrid finite-volume overland flow solver for rural and urban areas.•It comprises high-accuracy/low-efficiency and low-accuracy/high-efficiency schemes.•High-accuracy/low-efficiency scheme is adopted in strong discontinuous flows.•It simulates as accurate as the HLLC scheme with significant reduction on CPU time.
