摘要

•Coagulopathy is a risk in burn surgery and is associated to morbidity and mortality.•Resuscitation of bleeding during major burn surgery was not standardized.•Haemostatic monitoring (TEG/ROTEM) significantly decreased intraoperative transfusion.•TEG/ROTEM-analysis of blood revealed abnormally weak clot strength.
